• About Us

Conco-West, Inc. started out in 1978 from a dream and vision of the founder Keith DeRousse. His early experience started out as a carpenter and quickly moved towards management. Just prior to starting CWI he worked as the Project Manager for Fruin- Colon ( now FRUCON) on projects such as LPG Cooling Facilities in Kuwait as well as portions of the BART facilities throughout the Bay Area. Keith’s expectation of his company early on was to make quality work and client satisfaction a high priority! He also understood the clients concerns with cost and schedule and strived to become a leader in those areas as well.

CWI started out as a construction company specializing in structural concrete work, but early on realized the potential for adding site work, mechanical, and underground to it’s list of experience. It was always a goal of CWI management to migrate to where we are today, as a leader in construction of pump stations and treatment plants.

Today, present owners Mike DeRousse and John Onken are commited to carry on the same reputation that founder Keith DeRousse left behind. We try to exceed our clients expectations in all facets of the project from scheduling to final completion. It is our goal to leave our clients with the satisfaction of knowing that their projects were constructed with the highest quality materials and workmanship the industry has to offer.

“Our clients have a right to require high quality workmanship and project management that is above and beyond that of our competitors. We love to hear how CWI exceeded their expectations and were able to make difficult tasks seem simple. Our clients need to feel that once the contract is signed we will strive to exceed their expectations and avoid costly surprises through the use of our company’s vast experience.”
